About Gogigi.com
Gogigi.com has the ambition to make all relevant events and information easy to find for the queer community worldwide. The current provision of information about queer events is very fragmented. GiGi will be the central place for all this information in the broadest sense of the word. Events, merchandise or art... Go GiGi!
Building a global platform together
From day one, we have been involved in the concept. The ambition was clear, but above all, a practical plan needed to achieve initial traction with the platform. We were therefore closely involved throughout the process. In terms of content for the realization of the platform, but also behind the scenes to lay down the business foundation of this new start-up.
Scalable software with a focus on User Experience
The ultimate possibilities on a global scale are endless. The biggest challenge was therefore to choose a first practical version of the platform, but to set it up in such a way that it is easily expandable. In our collaboration, the focus is also continuously on a good User Experience and the application of Gogigi.com's distinctive brand design. The user can easily find the right information and the use of the Gogigi.com corporate identity is consistent. This creates an optimal user experience for the user and makes Gogigi.com the standard starting point for the queer community.
Our software vision for Gogigi.com
Gogigi.com is a scalable platform par excellence. As with many platforms, the start is small, but the scalability must be extremely high. We therefore consciously chose to build the solution cloud-native, of course, but also to use standard components for the CMS, etc. For example, the construction costs were relatively limited for the first phase, but there is also immediate scalability with growth. This is how we deliver maximum value, within the set budget frameworks.
The Tech Stack for Gogigi.com
For this solution, we have chosen to make optimal use of Directus. This solution serves as a “Back Office as a Service” and therefore did not have to be fully customized by us. That is why this saved time could mainly be spent on a good front-end experience that we have achieved in Qwik. In view of a lot of content that will be added and queried worldwide, we have selected the Qwik framework in our solution from a performance point of view.
