About DELTA Mobile
DELTA Mobiel is a national telecom provider. In addition to the offer for fiber internet and TV, their mobile telephony offer completes the all-in-one proposition. DELTA has a clear focus on growth, with customer satisfaction at the core.
Striving together for the ultimate user experience
The solution that was created for DELTA Mobiel users was set up quite functionally. Logical from the start, but now it's time to provide the ultimate user experience. Together, we are continuously working towards “my environments” where the customer really comes first. Our goal? Achieving a higher NPS through a hyper-efficient development process.
Mobile first “My environments”
Scalable “My environments” with a focus on the mobile user. The IT world of telecom providers is complex. The control takes place from underlying telecom systems, but as a user, you want insight into your consumption and costs down to the second or byte. Together with DELTA, we unlock this complex world by centrally unlocking data via an ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and translating it into practical use in the various applications.
We have set a clear goal in use. We want to put the DELTA organization at the helm as much as possible ourselves. Our efforts should focus on functionality and improvement, so DELTA itself is in control of the content.
DELTA Mobiel goes for MACH
A clear software vision was developed within DELTA. This vision fits seamlessly with how we, as Thesio, develop software solutions. Often referred to as MACH in the market. Important here is the headless setup of the solution, the automation of releases via CI/CD, but also in practical terms the use of specific frameworks (Vue/Nuxt) and platforms.
The tech stack for DELTA Mobile
For this solution, we have conformed to using a number of components that DELTA strongly preferred. These choices are also in line with our software vision, which focuses on efficient use, scalability and costs. This has ensured that we work with the Vue/Nuxt framework and also connect to existing solutions within DELTA as a CMS solution. This way, efficient (re) use can take place and practical knowledge is also shared among themselves.
Node.js is an open-source runtime environment for executing server-side JavaScript code. It provides an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model for building high-speed network applications. Popular for web applications and APIs, supported by a large community and npm packages, and often used with frameworks such as Express.js.
GraphQL is an API query language and runtime environment that allows clients to specify their own unique data requests. It offers a more efficient, flexible, and powerful way to retrieve data than traditional REST APIs. GraphQL is used to streamline communication between client and server and provides a standardized way to query data, resulting in faster and more scalable applications.
Bitrise is a cloud-based continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform designed for mobile app developers. It automates the construction, testing, and distribution process of mobile apps, making it faster and easier for developers to develop and deploy high-quality apps. Bitrise integrates seamlessly with popular development tools and offers comprehensive reporting and monitoring features.
Vue.js is a progressive JavaScript framework for building user interfaces and single-page applications. Nuxt.js is a framework on top of Vue.js, allowing it to support server-side rendering (SSR) and static generated (SG) applications. Both frameworks are flexible, lightweight and promote a component-based architecture for rapidly developing modern web applications with good performance and SEO friendliness.
